Journalist Fam Visit to the Angel Hotel, Abergavenny and the
Penderyn Distillery
We recently hosted Megan Eaves, an American travel
journalist on a visit to the area. Megan stayed at Abergavenny's
Angel Hotel where she enjoyed one of their award winning afternoon
teas.
The following day we took her to the Penderyn Whisky Distillery in
the Brecon Beacons where she took part in one of their Master Class
Tours.

South West Group Travel Show
We had a stand at this new exhibition at the @Bristol
Science Centre in Bristol. It was a very busy show and was great to
meet so many group organisers from South West England.

UKInbound Fam Visit
We welcomed a group from UKInbound to the region for a
familiarisation visit. The group made up mainly of European
tour operators took in our best attractions and hotels.
Places visited included Caerphilly Castle, Llanerch Vineyard, St
Fagans National History Museum and the Six Bells Mining Memorial
before enjoying a feast at one of Cardiff Castle's traditional
Welsh banquets.

Group Leisure Awards
We were thrilled and delighted to be named as a finalist in the
prestigious Group Leisure Awards. We were nominated in the
Best Tourist Board category and attended the gala dinner in
Birmingham for the presentations.
