Eliot Restaurant at Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Bridgend Awarded 2 AA Rosettes

The Eliot Restaurant at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel has been awarded the prestigious 2 AA Rosettes, strengthening its position as one of South Wales's top restaurants.  Chico Vidales, Executive Chef at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel and his team have gone from strength to strength seeing an increase of 26% in diners over the past 6 months.

Newly promoted Sous Chef, Ian Owen, who has joined from Claridges of London, is delighted to gain 2 AA Rosettes.  Ian says, "to gain the AA Rosettes for the hotel is a great achievement, and an honour for the hotel team."Coed Rosette Chefs

General Manager, Melanie Hancock says "I am delighted to receive 2 AA Rosettes it is a reflection on such an outstanding team who constantly deliver with pride and enthusiasm."

The award comes just months after the hotel recently invested over £500,000 converting the Coach House into an additional 7 luxury bedrooms.

Managing director Julian Hitchcock added "it's a testament to the entire team at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, who have also increased their AA merit score by nearly 4% to 79% recognising their continued commitment in customer care."

Eliot Restaurant look forward to another busy year and welcoming back its local based customers, as well as new guests to the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel.

Eliot Restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch on Monday to Friday 12 noon until 2pm, dinner 7pm until 10pm, Sunday lunch 12 noon until 2.30pm.  For reservations please call: 01656 860621
